Custom E-commerce Management Platform

E-commerce CMS Platform
A modern, intuitive, and powerful online store management system designed for seamless e-commerce operations.
Project Overview
// section.overview
The real problem wasn't missing features — it was the wrong complexity.
Store owners and internal sales teams were managing products, combos, and orders across tools that were never designed for them. WooCommerce was too technical. Custom spreadsheets were too fragile. What they needed wasn't more power — it was the right power, in a form they could actually use every day.

Learning & Reflections

Simplicity Over Feature Overload
Designing a lightweight E-commerce platform taught me that removing unnecessary features is often harder — and more valuable — than adding new ones. Users adopted the system faster precisely because it didn't overwhelm them.
Design System as a Foundation, Not an Add-on
Building a complete Design System with design tokens from day one dramatically reduced inconsistencies and made handoff to developers significantly smoother and faster.
Understanding Business Logic Before Designing UI
Features like combo/bundle management and product requests required deep understanding of how store owners actually think and operate. Jumping into UI without that context would have led to the wrong solutions
Combo Logic Is Harder to Design Than It Looks
Bundle and combo creation involved many edge cases — pricing rules, availability, dependencies between products. Mapping these flows clearly before jumping into UI saved significant rework.
